Accounting Intern
A reputed accounting firm is seeking for a highly motivated accounting student to join their dynamic and energetic team.
Potentially leading to a full-time position with our firm upon completion of your accounting degree for the right candidate
Your work experience will include:
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns (all type)
- Bookkeeping
- Scheduling client appointments
- Assisting Partners with preparing and processing fee quotes, invoices, engagement letters, ethical letters and Super fund letters/collations
- Updating company database with client-related information
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Creating and setting up companies, trusts and entities as well as handling renewals and transfers of business names with ASIC
- Assisting the accounting team – drawing up documents, following up with clients and some reporting
- General administration and office support, e.g. filing, copying, scanning, collating, binding etc.
- Reception duties, meeting and greeting clients, answer phones, answering basic enquiries, redirecting as required
Company is looing for high achievers with the following attributes:
- Currenly completing an Accounting Degree as a first or second year student.
- Impeccable approach to client servicing
- Exceptional presentation skills, determination and the drive to exceed clients expectations and business performance requirements.
- Be an excellent communicator
- Must be an Australian Resident (Permanent/Citizens only)
This is paid casual role between 15-20 hours per week and best suites undergraduate student.
